The Stairs

She stood at the bottom of the stairs and looked. She began her climb up.s6001144

She stood at the top of the stairs, looked down, and began descending.

The farther she climbed, the heavier her steps became.

Going down was easy.

She met herself in the middle of the stairs. They were too narrow to pass herself.

It was time to make a choice. She could continue down to the death of despair, or she could continue up to victory of life.
