Misconception Continued

He really didn’t want a new partner. He liked her, when she wasn’t complaining.  lilies-lora-mitchell

“You’re like this because of you’re pregnant.”

She passed a hand over her belly.

“It’s only for a few more weeks and you’ll be your old self.”

“It would be find if there was only one of them, but there are 62.”

“We came for the food not the meadows. Know what I see out that window beyond the flowers?”


“Instead the metal are windows and in every window are people. I see a pantry full of food.”

She smiled.

“You’re right. Order room service. We’ll see who comes up.”
