Firiday Fictioneer: Boy

Copyright-Sandra Crook

John lived in Small Town, USA.

He worked as a part time gas attendant.

One day a black Mercedes drove up.

The window lazily rolled down.

A man’s voice said, “Filler her up, Boy.”

“Boy, I need …”

“Boy …”

Without a word, or a sign of                  resentment, John serviced the car.

That afternoon, John was at his part time Sheriff’s job. As he was cruising in his police car, a black Mercedes sped by.

John pulled the car over. He got out of his car, walked lazily over to the window and said, “Need to see your license, Boy.”

The End
