Friday Fictioneer: True Love
This Friday Fictioneer was inspired by a comment draliman make on my last post, Friday Fictioneer: Secrets Untold
***
Sam was in high power upper management. Lori was a curator at the Louvre. They were soul mates until she walked out.
Sam thought his heart would never heal until he met Sally, his real true love, at an Amine convention.
For the first time in his adult life Sam knew real love.
He quit his job.
They moved to a fishing village in the South of France to live happily ever after.
Sam bought a set of dental tools and printmaking supplies and set about making etching of the village. Etchings that would one day hang in the Louvre.
The End

Hey, cute story. Won;t his old girlfriend be bothered when his art hangs in the Louvre. Well done. Lucy
Thanks, Lucy. Glad you like it.
Phyllis
Dear Phyllis,
I love the way you brought Sam’s work back to the Louvre. That’ll show Lori, won’t it?
A couple of typo issues…Sam was in a high power…either you don’t need the a or the sentence isn’t complete. And should it be etchings of the village?
Overall, I liked this.
Shalom,
Rochelle
No matter how hard I try … I need an editor.
Now a picture that suggests museum would be nice so I can finish the story. Ha.
Blessings, Phyllis
Nice piece. Silly Lori.
Thanks ;0)
A story with fulfilling dreams nice. You have adult like and I’m sure you mean adult life.
Thanks.
And thanks.
Phyllis
Dear Mr. Myth, Good story and I love happy endings! Lori will be sorry and I’m glad she left, because now he has his soul – mate and is doing what he wants to do with his life. Awesome fairytale story which does, on occasion, come true. Very effective use of happiness 🙂 Nan
Dear Nan, Very nice comment, thanks.
But it’s Phyllis Moore. Very defiantly female.
The south of France. Oh, I so want to be there. Nice, gentle story well told.
Me too. I’ve never been to France. I’ve never been east of the Atlantic. Would love to go.
See, I said he’d be better off with someone with the same interests 🙂
Good for him. I hope Lori has to curate his exhibition!
Yes! You were very right.
I hope Lori does too. It will serve her right!
What a lovely story!
Thank you for saying so. ;0)
Phyllis, Lovely story with a happy ending. I hope Lori learned a lesson. Well done. 🙂 —Susan
