Friday Fictioneer: Enough Already
“So this is where it all happens? Where you create worlds and decide the fate of your characters.”
She was his most popular fictional character. She’d endured tragic teen years. Now she fought evil and injustice. After ten best selling novels, she’d come to life.
“Yes,” he said proudly.
“You are a god.”
“No.” He chuckled. “Just a simple writer.”
“Simple? I think not. You have mastered my life and I am tired of it all.”
She raised an ax and hacked the writing table to pieces.
Good thing he hadn’t told her the creative process started in his head.
