“What is it?” she asked, pressing her nose against the exhibit window.

“Pure power.”

In a flash, a long-branch like tentacle extended out its formless body and quickly disappeared. It moved, changed shape as if restless. A face came out and looked directly at my daughter.

“What’s its name?”

“Electricity. We captured and harnessed its power.”

“You have imprisoned it and turned it into your slave. You’ve become lazy, mother, all of you have. You’re no longer creative or inventive because of Electricity.”

The next day she set Electricity free, plunging the metropolis into darkness and causing everyone to rekindle their Powers.
