was created with best of intentions with the promise of love.

But Magic has a way of folding in on itself.

The gift became a Jewel of Desire, a curse to anyone who possessed it.

Topaz reached into the depths of one’s heart to reveal the truth of one’s nature.

It became the master thereby enslaving mortals to their desires.

Only the true of heart can hold Topaz with no ill effects.

For the true of heart’s only master is Love.

Love conquers Evil.
