Friday Fictioneer: About Time
“He only comes when he’s in need.”
“Oh come on.”
“No seriously. I never get flowers or a card or a phone call. My husband only wants his needs met.”
“Stop saying it like that.”
“Well it’s true.”
“Don’t you think it’s about time you forgave him, Ellen? And give him want he wants?”
Ellen didn’t answer.
“He’s outside weeding your garden. For goodness sake, Ellen, the man asked for a glass of ice cold tea.”
“I’ll give him a glass of lemonade. No ice.”
Friday Fictioneers is a challenge to write a 100 word story from a picture prompt. It’s hosted by Rochelle Wisoff-Fields, anyone can play.
