Friday Fictioneer: Self-Worth

PHOTO PROMPT © Dale Rogerson
“So pretentious. Look at this place. Such high ceilings as I if to say, ‘No one else is as grand as me.’ And what are those circular things? Hun? With the light in the center of each one. They scream of conceit and arrogance. ‘Look at me no one is as grand as me.’ What idiot designed this place?”
“You did.”
“I must have done this in my younger years. When did I do this?”
“Last year.”
“I must have done something more substantial since then.”
“Nope. Last year was it.”
“I’ll mature with age.”
“You’re 25. It hasn’t worked so far.”

Must be male. They don’t mature until at least 35 😉
And… if he doesn’t remember what he did last year… I dunno!
Yeah, I think you’re right.
Ha ha ha,maturity is vastly over-rated.
Fun. ;0)
Maybe he doesn’t want to remember. He seems very strange.
I think you are right.
Dear Phyllis,
Interesting and amusing dialogue. How do you not remember designing something like that?
Shalom,
Rochelle
Because he is an idiot?
Rochelle, sorry I haven’t posted you today like I promised. Not feeling well. Should be better tomorrow.
Phylis
Delightful piece of fiction.
Thank you.
I hope he’s not suffering from some sort of dementia. I’m sure I’d remember designing that! If not, he’s only 25 – not yet mature in my book 🙂
This guy is a bit full of himself. You are not. At least I don’t think you are. ;0)
ouch!
They could have been high when they created it. Great story.
That’s the answer. Thank you.
Priceless. “You’re 25. . . .” I love it. From my ripe old age, 25 seems just the beginning 🙂
I know. He definitely has a lot to learn.
