Friday Fictioneer: Rainforest


Elf and human stood on the top of the mountain over looking a wasteland.

“This is it?” Marty asked. “You’ve got to be kidding.”

“It’s because of that kind of attitude that you humans miss the true magic in your world,” Elilaph said. “You’re familiar with magic, but you do not see magic.”

Elilaph pulled Marty so they stood between the rock and tree, then they stepped off the cliff.

Marty yelled, expecting to plummet to the ground below.

Instead he stood on solid ground and looking over a city built in a rainforest.


“A different realm.”
