Friday Fictioneer: Trading Dreams

PHOTO PROMPT © Gah Learner
Leaning against the windowsill, she watched the full moon. She’d been dreaming about fairies. Dreams inspired by her grandmother’s stories.
Which made her wonder, what would it be like have wings and fly away, or have magic to fix her problems?
With a heavy sigh, she returned to bed. Tomorrow was another day with so many responsibilities. She needed a good night sleep.
“Ahh. Ahh. Ahh.”
“Wake up! What’s the matter?”
“I was having another nightmare.”
“You’ve been listening to too many of your grandmother’s stories.”
“Their life is so scary and chaotic. Why would anyone want to be human?”

Great piece. Her grandmother has a very vivid imagination!
Thank you.
Sounds like life really is better as a fairy!
Life is always better in a fantasy.
Achieving a double viewpoint in 100 words isn;t easy
It does take a bit of thinking. But the brain is up to it. ;0)
Fun! Both sides depicted!

Dear Phyllis,
You leave us wondering which is reality and which is fantasy. Lovely.
Shalom,
Rochelle
It’s all in the imagination, Rochelle. ;0)
Blessings, Phyllis
Lovely story.
Thank you.
A lovely sideways look at life – and fairies. I thoroughly enjoyed the way you told your story.
Thank you so much.
What are faeries dreaming of… reminds me of the book title “Do androids dream about electric sheep?”
“What are faeries dreaming of”? I’ll have to think on that one and write a story about it. I’ll dedicate it to you. ;0)
