Cooking and Multitasking
I love to cook and try new recipes. The other day I planned to try chicken with feta sauce. I was following the directions and had added the chicken.
I got distracted by the TV show I was watching.
When I looked back at the directions, I read creole poached chicken, which said to start with sauteing onions, carrots, and green peppers, then add the chicken.
“Oh no,” I thought I’d misread the recipe by adding the chicken too soon.
I started a new pan for the saute and planned to add the already cooking chicken to it.
After I’d started the saute, I realized I was reading two separate recipes. I considered saving the saute, but thought, “What the heck,” and made both recipes.
Both turned out to be good choices.
heh heh It is easy to get distracted, and those recipes were side by side! Glad they both turned out good. 🙂
Thanks. I froze one and eat the other. Now I’m about to unfreeze the other and eat it. ;0) No cooking tonight.
Very good! It worked out just right, then. 🙂
