Friday Fictioneer: Aliens

PHOTO PROMPT © Rochelle Wisoff-Fields
“I don’t want to go.”
“Why not?”
“Aliens.”
“You have too much imagination.”
“Those round thingies will beam me up. Aliens will eat me.”
“Just you? Not me.”
“You’re too gristly.”
“I know about aliens.”
“You do.”
“That’s why I dressed you in a blue hoodie. They can’t see blue.”
“They can’t?”
“They can’t. Pull the hoodie over your head and looked down and they’ll never see you.”
“Okay. Look I found a quarter.” Johnny pulled his hoodie back, lifted his head to show her.
“Well let’s see if we can’t find something to spend that quarter on,” Mommy said.

Cute. Mommy took being called “too gristly” pretty well 😉
Sweet story, Phyllis. He never once realised that he was still safe…
That’s what mom’s do. Keep their little ones save.
This is true. And one day, we hope they realise it…
Happy hoping. ;0)
But seriously, deep down, they know. That’s why the never truly leave. They feel safe with you.
A cunning plan to alleviate Johnny’s fears!
Yes, Mom’s are cunning. That’s how we survived childhood.
Dear Phyllis,
Clever mom and cute story.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thank you, Rochelle.
Blessing to you,
Phyllis
All power to mommy for persuading her son to get out of home and take some fresh air.
Funny, but so true.
Fun one. He’s got a good mommy.
Thanks. ;0)
