Daily Prompt: Bookworms: Historian
The historian sits at his desk and writes every deed, every thought so as not to be forgot.
The historian preserves all that in important from the beginning of time, heroes to be remembered to the mundane we wish to forget.
Every scientific find is documented from first thought to proof of fact.
From a peasant’s birth to a king’s death, a historian writes it all down, every fact.
No detail is too small for an historian.

No, I’m not trying to be a poet. As you can tell, I don’t know how. This is how it came to me.
The Daily Post‘s Daily Prompt was Bookworms. The post suggested: Grab the nearest book. Open it and go to the tenth word. Do a Google Image Search of the word. Write about what the image brings to mind.
The book at hand was Carol Berg’s novel The Spirit Lends. The ten word was Historian.

Perhaps the historian needs to stop recording life before its forgotten and live before he’s dead. Thanks for the post. God bless.
For some people that is their life. What can you do?
I love the historian! A blessed afternoon!
Blessings to you too. Thanks for the compliment. ;0)
