There is a small clump of trees behind my apartment building. It looks too small for deer to live in them. I’ve never seen a deer.
But I’m not up at 7 in the morning when they get up to greet the day.
Come winter, the lake freezes and thanks to the snow, there’s plenty of evidence that deer are around.
