Mondays Finish the Story: Oh Oh
Mondays Finish the Story is a flash fiction challenge where a new photo it provided each week, and the first sentence of a story. I’m to write a story the the sentence and photo in mind.
This week’s sentence is:
“Are you laughing at me?” Draack asked.

They happily nodded and keep laughing.
No one laughed at Draack. He had his pride to protect.
“What did you do?” his wife fearfully demanded.
“I cut the orchids down.”
“Why?”
“They were laughing at me.”
“You fool, those were the queen’s orchids.”
“But she like roses!”
“Yes, but she’d personally requested Yellow Laughing Orchids. You know what this means, don’t you.”
He knew exactly what this meant. The queen’s eyes would budge with fury, she’d slam her staff three times and yell at the top of her voice, “Off with his head.”
